breakthewire is a UK-based company specialising in music journalism, clothing, merchandise and related products.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

  • By placing an order, you confirm that all details you provide are accurate, true and complete.

3. Products & Availability

  • We make every effort to ensure product descriptions, images and pricing are accurate.

  • Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen.

  • All orders are subject to availability; if a product is unavailable, we will notify you and refund any payment made.

4. Prices & Payment

  • All prices are shown in GBP (£).

  • Shipping costs will be added at checkout.

  • We accept payment by debit/credit card and Paypal as shown as checkout.

  • Payment must be made in full before your order is dispatched.

  • You must provide complete and accurate details at the time of making your purchase. You may be required to provide additional details upon our request to ensure the accuracy of your order.

  • You must enter the correct delivery address and delivery instructions at the time of placing your order. If you enter an incorrect address, breakthewire is not obliged to re-send the order to the correct address at our own expense. 

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • We deliver to the UK, Europe, USA and other selected international destinations.

  • Delivery times vary by location and will be provided at checkout.

  • Any customs duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • We are not responsible for delays outside of our control (e.g. courier delays, strikes, customs checks).

6. Returns & Refunds

  • You may return unworn, unused items within 14 days of delivery for a refund or exchange.

  • Items must be returned in original condition with all tags attached.

  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

  • Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

  • Please contact info@breakthewire.co.uk before sending any returns.

7. Cancellation of Orders

breakthewire may cancel your order if for any reason we are unable to provide you with the products subject to your order. We will contact you should this occur.

You will not be entitled to claim any additional amounts or seek compensation for any loss, expense or damage (either direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result from such cancellation. 

8. Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

  • We will arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.

9. Consent 

By agreeing to these Purchase and Shipping terms, you also consent to receive further electronic communications from us in relation to the breakthewire business, including information relating to products, competitions, promotions, special offers and any other commercial message. Of course, you may at any time, unsubscribe from receiving electronic commercial messages from us. 

10. Intellectual Property

  • All content on this Website (logo, designs, text, images, graphics) belongs to breakthewire and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

  • You may not copy, reproduce or distribute our content without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our Website or products.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

  • Your personal information is handled in line with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy (see separate page).

  • We only use your data to process orders, provide customer support and improve your shopping experience.

13. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
